This elegant vintage inspired setting features a breathtaking princess cut pink sapphire that looks just like a pink diamond! The size is 5.5mm which is the size of a 1 carat diamond. This classic traditional size is a perfect choice for an engagement ring and this looks like it should cost tens of thousands of dollars! The faceting on the sapphire is spectacular and it shows as soon as you lay your eyes on the gem. There is no window and it has great sparkle too. On each side is a princess cut diamond which balances the look beautifully. And along the band are tiny bead set, fully cut diamonds. And then, let's not overlook the platinum setting. Platinum is a rare metal, it's naturally white and will stay looking so for a lifetime. The metal is more dense than gold and you can feel the difference when the ring is on your finger. The princess cut diamonds are set in 18k yellow gold for a subtle contrast. Sapphires are the hardest gemstone and are an ideal choice for a ring that will be worn often.
