Please note that, in most cases, insurance companies will reimburse you for your purchase price, not a higher appraised value, and also have the right to purchase a replacement item themselves on your behalf. I think you should put up a consumer warning on your site, something like, "WARNING: THE JEWELRY FEATURED ON THIS SITE IS MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN REPRESENTED IN THE PICTURES." Seriously, I know you hear this all the time, that the items look so much more lovely in life than in the photographs. I just received the purple sapphire ring I ordered. OMG! It is so gorgeous I almost cried. The color is deeper and brighter than the picture would indicate. I got a compliment on it ten minutes after it was on my hand. A friend of mine who has worked at Key Jewelers for years said, "Beautiful sapphire - wait - Asscher cut diamonds? Really? I've only seen a couple of those in my life, and that was in remount events. How did you find them!"

• We Manufacture our own Jewelry. We do not purchase finished jewelry and pay the middlemen mark-ups. Instead we source the gemstones from around the world ourselves and then manufacture our jewelry in the Los Angeles jewelry district - the largest jewelry manufacturing district in the United States. This enables us to produce our jewelry as inexpensively as possible while having access to the best professional jewelry craftsmen and allows us to maintain tight control over our quality.
  
  
• Minimal or No advertising. Advertising usually makes up a very significant portion of a companies expenses. Those Google ads that you see can be EXTREMELY expensive. We have done almost no advertising since we went online in 2000.
  
  
• No Store. We are a family run internet only company. We do not have the many expenses of running a store such as rent, security, displays, sales people, and insurance.
  
• We Love Cost Cutting. We constantly look for ways to cut our operational costs. From business cards to electricity. In the latter example, we installed solar panels years ago which cover 100% of our electrical needs. They have already paid for themselves and now our electricity is free! As with everything else, if we don't have to pay, you don't have to pay.

For rings ordered in the stock size, the ring will ship the same or next business day . You can send your ring back to us once for free sizing and free return shipping for up to one month after you receive your new ring. Additionally, nearly all of our rings can also be sized by your local jeweler .

For rings ordered with sizing, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipment if you ordered ring sizing (i.e., a non-stock ring size). If you need a ring sized and need a faster turnaround, just let us know and we can likely accommodate your request.
Our shipping boxes are plain and unmarked to assure privacy (and non-detection).

30 Day Return Policy

If for any reason you or your gift recipient are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the purchase for a full refund or exchange for 30 days after package delivery. It's that simple!

The Return Process

• Please contact us at service@mysapphiresource.com or Toll Free: 866-432-4936 to let us know that you wish to return an item. We will immediately provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which you must include with your item.
  
• Depending on your location, we will provide you with the appropriate return shipping address when you contact us.
  
• All items must be returned in the original, undamaged condition with the tamper resistant tag attached (if applicable) within 1 week of receiving the RMA number. Items sold as a pair must be returned together (e.g., chains and pendants). Items returned without the tamper resistant tag will not be accepted. Items which are scratched or damaged will be subject to a repair fee. We cannot accept any item which has been modified by another party for return.
  
• Packages must be mailed to us within 1 week of receiving your RMA Number by insured, priority mail or better. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and assumes all risks for loss or damage in transit.
  
• Items returned without a RMA having been issued, items returned without the original jewelry boxes, or items not postmarked within 7 days of receiving the RMA number are subject to a $25 restocking fee. Items returned post-marked after 14 days of receiving your RMA will not be accepted and returned. Goods shall not be considered accepted for return until we have received, inspected and approved the returned item at our place of business. You will be notified by email when your return has been processed.

• The amount refunded will be the total price paid less any shipping upgrade fees, non-refundable amounts (for those who had us size your ring prior to shipment), and/or penalties (as described above), if applicable.
  
• For special and custom orders, the non-refundable deposit cannot be refunded, even if the order has been cancelled prior to shipping.
  
• All refunds will be paid by the original payment method when possible.
