Since sapphires are tough and durable, they can withstand most cleaning methods. Your sapphire jewelry may be cleaned with a soft-bristled brush or a cloth with plain or soapy water. Although steaming or ultrasonic cleaners are technically acceptable, we do not recommend these methods as they can cause the stones to loosen in their settings.
