The sapphire we have used in this ring is extremely rare. In our 15 years of business, we have seen only one other fine quality checkerboard faceted square cushion cut sapphire of this size. When we first saw this sapphire, it was love at first sight. The color is a perfect pink. Not too pale, not a hot pink either. More of a light to medium bubblegum. But not too girly. Feminine by not childish. It is just stunning! The sapphire is also eye clean and loupe clean too. It is simply a one of a kind. We selected a beautiful and simple diamond halo setting to showcase this gorgeous gem. The diamonds are of very fine quality themselves and definitely do justice to the ring. We have only one ring like this so the lady who receives it will be very lucky indeed. At 2.00 carats, the sapphire is a nice, prominent size but it is also very wearable. This ring would make a perfect signature ring or engagement ring.
