We just love the sapphire featured in this beautiful ring. It is a soft and delicate pastel yellow color and looks just like a fancy light yellow diamond. It is completely natural and untreated making it a truly rare gem. The sapphire is 1.62 carats and measures 6.8mm. This is a wonderful wearable size. Not petite or demure and not flashy or gaudy. The special sapphire is elegantly highlighted by a frame of 18 brilliant cut round diamonds and there are 7 more on each side of the band. The more than one-half carat diamonds are of fine GH/SI quality and are completely free of visible inclusions. This means that they are quite lively and full of life! The setting has an open basket design which allows a lot of light to pass through and reflect from the sapphire. This graceful design will make a perfect signature or engagement ring since it is not only spectacular and eye-catching but wearable and comfortable too.
