Item Description:

The stunning combination of the blue and white sapphires in this ring looks like a high end blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring. The white sapphires are an ideal diamond alternative at a very affordable price. The oval blue sapphire at the center is from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and has a beautiful lighter toned periwinkle-cornflower blue color. A lot of Ceylon sapphires have a lighter tone and this is one reason they are known for their sparkle and brilliance and this sapphire is no exception. The faceting style and shape of the blue and white sapphires complement each other wonderfully for a unified and elegant look. For added design interest, there is a little white sapphire on each side of the ring at the base where the prongs come together. The sapphires are held securely in a durable shared prong setting with prongs which are thick and sturdy so you can wear this ring without worry. The setting weighs nearly 6 grams and the shank is about 3mm wide all the way around. The thickness and weight of the ring feel very comfortable on the finger.
